Would love it, if it didn't smell By ATrunner from Holland, MI on 11/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: In terms of performance, it's great, nice and soft, plenty of pockets, works well for running in cooler weather, seems to break a little bit of the wind and there's enough room to add some layers underneath when it gets colder. I did read the comments that said it had a strange smell and I didn't think much of it until I got it. It's so strong that it makes the other clothes in the closet smell. Hopefully washing will help.
Great for cold wether running By TZ from St. Louis, MO on 01/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've used this jacket running in temps down to about 18 degrees. It has been great. I was so used to many layers that the biggest adjustment at first was not to over dress. Very pleased with this purchase.
By Yankee Chick from Charleston, SC on 01/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I only own lightweight jackets for running but there are occasional cold spells where this jacket is just right as a top layer when it is in the 20's or 30's and windy. It is very warm, windproof and looks good on.
By all-weather sports from Wisconsin on 01/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Another reviewer mentioned that this jacket smelled a little funky, even after washing, and that is indeed the case.
It's also a little larger in the trunk than I would like -- certainly comfortable for movement, but a little loose and baggy.
By Christy F from Annapolis, MD on 01/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great running jacket, good for layers. I am very cold natured and the jacket is good for 30-40 degree weather. I did need more layers when it was in the 20's or very windy. These breathable clothes don't do well in the bitter cold wind :)
By W.F. from East Meadow, NY on 12/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable fit, but it runs a bit big. I intend on wearing it for cool weather cycling.
By mel from springfield, mo on 12/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked this jacket, but the sleeve length is just a tad too short. Great pockets and color plus reflective stripes.
By Smelly from Ventura, CA on 12/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Running, Team Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Love it except for the smell. Washed it but it didn't take away the mildewy odor. Seems as though it was damaged and then [...] got it.
