By style on the trail from Pennsylvania on 10/25/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great rain jacket and very stylish. I have been looking for a jacket that is breathable, actually waterproof (hate DWR finishes), and isn't frumpy or boxy. This jacket fits the bill! The well-placed stripe design flatters a woman's body. I am tall and had no problem with the sizing/length of the bodice/sleeves.

By DocPruitt from Rochester, NY on 09/16/2009 Pros: Durable, Hood Strap, Large Hood, Lightweight, Not sticky net to skin, Not stiff, Stylish, Visible color for outdoor Best Uses: Casual cycling, Casual Wear, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Summer rain coat Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't had a chance to wear in the rain yet, but feels like it will do the job. Love the large hood & how it can be rolled & tied up. I hate rain jackets that have interior plastic & stick to skin- this one doesn't. I can wear tanks underneath and be comfortable. Sleeve are a bit long, but nothing major. I usually wear black or dark color jackets, but I love the greenish-yellow color!
By Heat Lily from Redding, CA on 03/25/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was really excited about this jacket, but dissapointed when I received it. It is definately a "shell". I felt it lacked necessary features such as fleece lining at the top of the zipper and interior pockets. It felt very thin like a piece of plastic. I tried it on with layers and I felt constricted. Overall it was just not what I expected and therefore I sent it back. If you are looking for a thin, no whistles, waterproof jacket (maybe for jogging in the rain?) than this is the jacket.
By K. the happy hiker from Vernon, British Columbia, Canada on 02/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket for the West Coast Trail that I plan to hike this comming spring. I needed a jacket that will hold out through days and days of rain. I am positive that this jacket will be exactly what i wanted! The hood gives plenty of cover with a firm brim to shed all water from your face. Very Very nice looking jacket too! I am quite a small person and the W XS fits perfectly, maybe a little longer then normal but for rain I think that will be a good thing.
By tvhmke from Milwaukee, WI on 01/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Trekking, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used this jacket when hiking the "W" in Torres del Paine, Chile. Worked perfectly when it started to rain and was windy. Hood seems a little large, but over all I'd recommend this jacket at this price.
