By Barusu from McMinnville, OR on 05/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Design, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bike commuting in the Northwest means variable weather conditions all year. These liners work to enhance the properties of any sock worn over them. Cotton, wool, Coolmax... doesn't matter. Liners like these enhance them all.
(Bonus feature: they help reduce stinky feet.)

Great socks at awesome price. By Nate the Great from Houston, TX on 03/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Mountaineering Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only flaw with these 2nds is that they were dirty. A quick wash and they are as good as 1st quality socks.
By samwalker07 from Western Pa. on 03/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Dogwalking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After testing the first 2 pr., I immediately ordered 5 more at Sierra's low price. These liners make an unbelievable difference in how my hiking boot/sock combinations perform. I was also surprised that the "generic" size large fit my slim 9 1/2 foot so well. They have yet to ride down or bunch up, and now my Smartwool Hiking and Trekking socks are far more comfortable. I now wear them in all my boots, all the time. Great investment. Couldn't be more pleased. Thanks Sierra.
By Roscoe from Northern Illinois on 03/20/2008 Pros: Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually only wear liners while doing serious hiking, but I got some custom shoe inserts that were rubbing and causing a hot spot. I figured these would help reduce the friction.
They did the trick. Coupled with a good sock, they reduced the wear on my feet.
The only minor issue I had was with the toe stitching. It is a little bulky and I dont like the feel against my toes. So, just as I do with other liners, I simply turned them inside out.
Overall a really good deal. I would (and probably will) buy again.
Kept our feet nice and warm all day! By Bonnie from Shawboro.NC on 03/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We bought our sock liners as we were going dogsledding at Wintergreen in Ely, Minnesota. It never got above freezing, but our feet stayed warm all day long. Sledding over frozen lakes can be chilling, but we stayed warm !!
Thanks!
By samwalker from Western Pa. on 03/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Dogwalking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After purchasing 4 pair of high quality hiking boots and 5 pr. of Smartwool hiking & trecking socks in the last 90 days, I finally found these liners to be the answer to all my problems. They are just the right thickness to wear with any weight sock and eliminate the "feel" of the arch and heel features of the Smartwool socks. They fit surprisingly well with my slim 9 1/2 feet, and stay in place regardless of which boot/sock combination I use. I now wear them 16 hrs. a day while working and my daily 3 mile dog walk/hike. I just took delivery of another 5 pair from Sierra. Quick delivery, great product and excellent price. Thanks.
Warm, but they wear quickly By Winter yardworkman from Auburn, Maine on 03/11/2008 Pros: Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They do, or rather did, keep my feet both warmer and dryer than before. But they are almost a disposable item.
