I was surprised at the fit/finish and quality of this sweater...seems to be equal to similar (but more expensive) Arcteryx clothing. The color is great, fit is spot on (order your normal size)and it seems that it will provide just the right amount of warmth..even though I haven't had a chance to check that out yet.
I bought one, now my wife wants one. By Pete from Alexandria, VA on 02/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Classic, Practical Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was looking for something to wear around the house on chilly evenings. This fits the bill and more. It is so nice I can wear it out with either jeans or slacks. I bought a medium for my 32 inch arm and the sleeve is longer than a shirt or regular fleece, but most sweaters have longer sleeves anyway. The long sleeves are the only thing that keeps my wife from adding it to her wardrobe.

This fir the bill very nicely.

It has some give, but not exactly "stretchy". I was impressed with the fit - it fits a slim (like me) to medium athletic build perfectly. The sleeves are about 1.5" longer than necessary, but that always seems to be the case for me with technical clothing. The drawstring hem has a pull on each side, which are a nice touch since it is too thick to tuck in. The collar is a little stiff, but softens up at the zipper after a little breaking in. Note that individuals with large necks might find the collar size too restrictive to zip up.
Note that the inside and outside are both dense and fleecy - it is difficult to slide over or into other high-friction materials, e.g. other fleeces. It seems to work best over a skin-tight and/or slim fit baselayer with a smooth synthetic face, and/or under a shell with a smooth or mesh liner. Over a heavyweight base layer and under a shell, it should do pretty well in 20 deg F weather with low to moderate activity.

Looks great, very comfortable. Just got my second one in a different color. My favorite for winter warmth!
Wish we could buy another! I'm writing this for my husband. He's 6'3" with long arms and torso and he was thrilled with this pullover. The sleeves actually came to the middle of his hands. Roomy fit and is now his favorite for outdoor walks and hikes or watching football.

The inside is very soft fleece material, while the outside is more of a tightly woven texture which makes this not only comfortable to wear but makes it look more high-end. I wish it were a full zip, but the quarter zip is still good. This is definitely more of an outer layer than a shirt.

This one I got [...]is the best of my pullover. It is comparable to my other Arcteryx's. I especially like the neck zip, unlike other brands, this one is very comfortable when zipped up. It doesn't bother my chin or neck while keeping my neck warm. The TufStretch band around the neck is also windproof. As I like this one so much, I ordered a second one.
