By Little Mary from Boulder, CO on 03/11/2010 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got an X-tra small, I'm 4'9" 95 lbs. and it just barely fits. But I like it a lot. It's very cozy and I love all the inside pockets. If one was available in a small, I might order it so I could wear a bulky sweater.
By Cubbie from Salt Lake City, UT on 01/29/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this jacket in the colors adobe and espresso. The espresso is a flat brown color and the adobe is a brownish orange shade with some sheen to it.
They are the best in the wind--not like other Polartec fleece jackets.
The lining is flannel, and the fur outside is very soft and comforting. It's true, people will want to touch the fur.
I usually wear a size S, but ordered a M because I wanted to give myself some room to layer underneath. The sleeves were a little long, but the cuffs keep them up. The length hits me at the hips. There's also adjustable draw cords at the hip area to cinch for a fitted look.
Highly recommended.
By Rita loves STP from Maryland on 01/05/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I came looking for a Mountain Hardware "monkey" jacket, but STP did not have my size. Because this jacket looked similar and had a great price, I decided to try it out. SOOO glad I did! I love it! It looks great on, I get tons of compliments, and most importantly - it is WARM! I have been wearing it in windy, cold weather (real feel of mid 20s) and I do not get cold! I haven't worn any other jacket since getting this one. Also, it has a nice little zipped pocket on the left sleeve in addition to the two at the sides, perfect size to keep ID, chapstick, ipod nano, money, things of that sort.
If you are on the fence about this jacket - jump! you won't regret it!
By Shopaholic from Chicago, IL on 12/10/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a big fan of Mountain Hardwear products and this jacket definitely tops my list. I've been looking for warm, thick fleece - around the warmness of Polartec 300 - for a while now. The only option in my size range is the North Face Denali jacket, which I hate because everyone and their mother owns one. (Plus I feel TNF quality has gone way down since they are "trendy" now). I also considered the Patagonia R4, but the fit was really weird on me.
This jacket is really warm! I usually get cold easily, but this jacket kept me toasty warm in this windy city! The sleeves are a tad long - I'm 5'2" 105 lbs and got the small - so I ended up folding the elastic cuffs in for a better fit. I can still wear medium-weight sweater under and have just enough room to move around. I probably could have gotten away with the xsmall, but I prefer to have some room for layering since I have thinner fleeces, like the MHW Lynx, for milder weather.
If you like the warmth of Polertec 300 and hate wearing the same TNF Denali jacket as everyone else, then this is definitely you should consider!

Looked warm and fit nice but HAIRY By J from Ft Worth, TX on 11/20/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Jacket sleeves fit perfectly when arms were down to the side but would have ridden up had I tried to do anything else (I am 5'3" and got an XS). I returned the jacket primarily b/c the "hairiness" of the fleece was more than I wanted. Definitely seemed like it would have been a warm jacket, though.
Both gifts...wish they were for me! By Missy from Stamford CT on 11/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Gifts--one already given and have seen it on my friend non-stop! Other for a birthday next month. Great price [...].

Seams in unusual places stood out but after brushing, the seams hid within the fur. I'd like to have one with lining!
