Wool - alpaca felt nice but I returned it within an hour as I could not use it- too short. It's an older classic style that seems to be making a comeback. Great fall colors.

The colors are a bit bussy but go well with solid pants or skirts. I have several alpaca cardigans and love this type of wool.

However, the sizing is off. I normally wear a small, but had to go up two sizes (to a large) in order to get the sleeves to fit. But the body of the sweater is now very loose. I'm keeping it, though, because the price can't be beat for a handknit sweater made of alpaca wool! I love wearing it at home when the weather is cool.

What I have is a sweater that is warm and comfortable, but baggy and barely fits in the arms. I would not wear this out of the house, although the pattern is nice, because it looks too big. But it works for a chilly house in the winter.

However for a taller person the lenght and the sleeves will be too short.

Sleeves are shorter than other sweaters of this brand, but can be adjusted a bit (pull to stretch). Covered buttons blend well into the trim but I'm a bit concerned about wear, because some of them are a little hard to push through the buttonholes. Still, it's a lovely, soft, versatile sweater at a great price.
