By Adventure Girl from Bend, OR on 06/19/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Neat Features Best Uses: Books, School, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-Oriented Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A very well made product that will make a nice carry-on for travel. Probably not practical for actual hiking. I ordered two, one for me, one as a gift. THE PLASTIC FASTENERS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED BACKWARD, WHICH IS WHY SOME FOLKS HAVE COMMENTED THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO TIGHTEN THE STRAPS...JUST UNBUCKLE, PULL THE PIECE OFF, AND TURN IT AROUND. ALL BETTER! Sierra Trading Post Responded on 06/19/2009
Thank you for your review. After evaluation of this backpack, it was determined that the fasteners may be installed incorrectly. Just remove the plastic fasteners, turn around and re-fasten, and then re-connect the straps.
More of a Backpack than you think! By bkthompson from west coast on 04/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Neat Features Cons: Too Small, VERY HEAVY Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: In and of itself, it's a great, smallish backpack. It was WAY too heavy for every day use, but for travel it would be nice!

By Wildjuan from Loleta CA on 11/22/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Padding Cons: Bulky, Not Enough Compartments, Short Back Straps Best Uses: Camera Case, Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased this pack to carry things for short distances, for which it works OK. It would not work well as a backpack since the shoulder straps are short and not well padded. The pack itself however is very well padded so it could work well as a camera case. Handle on top is sturdy and does work well to hand carry.
