Is my "Man purse". Holds my computer, papers, keys, pens, etc. Great bag at a great price.

Why is it called an Angler Bag? By Lance Bruce from SC Upstate. on 08/16/2009 Best Uses: School or work, Traveling Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just got this bag and have not used it. This bag is very well constructed, but I'm not so sure how good it is going to be for fishing. The main thing I would like to see is a waterproof or rubberized lining. My fishing stuff is frequently wet, and on occasion I might even want to stick a fish in it. The inside is padded knit. It looks like when it gets dirty, wet, and stinky from bait and fish, it will be the devil to clean.
Same thing goes for the suede accents.
I am not sure why they padded a bag for fishing. I may just end up using it a a book bag.
The price was great, but I don't think I would recommend it for fishing. I would recommend it for work or school.

Just what you have been looking for. By Savvy Traveler from Federal Way, WA. on 05/15/2009 Pros: Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional, Holds a 17" Laptop Cons: Interior divider not good, Poor Design Best Uses: Traveling, Used as Laptop Bag Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased the Angler(s) Bag specifically for toting my large 17 inch Laptop when traveling. The outside of the bag has two large (deep) pockets that are ideal for accessory storage. The inside compartment has a divider, that is not very sturdy,(the stitching ripped when holding the weight of my (heavy) Laptop.) I would recommend getting a laptop sleeve in addition to the protection of just the bag itself; or adding some foam around the sides. Since I carry this on-board the aircraft with me, proper storage (W/O) damage can be a problem sometimes when over head bins become full. I would think a lighter, smaller laptop would work well with this bag. Of coarse you could always use it for what it was designed for. I always carry too much fishing tackle for this to work for me as a Anglers Bag..
