Seems to be very well made; I like its looks; I am certainly pleased so far. I, however, would have like more interior and/or exterior pockets; otherwise it is quite roomy. Bought one for my daughter.
By Lemmy from Gand Rapids, MI on 10/13/2009 Pros: Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice bag. My only complaints are that (i)the zipper doesn't seem that string, but I've had no problems with it, and (ii) it seems to get marked-up pretty easy. But I'm glad I bought it.
By Barb from MA on 08/19/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Handsome bag, Large Capacity Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this bag for my daughter's boyfriend as a send off gift to college - It is his style - classic but pretty simple. I wanted a gift that he would use for years to come, and remember that it was a gift from her family.

Looks great and built well By myeyelash from East coast on 12/29/2008 Pros: Durable, Large Capacity Best Uses: Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been looking for an attractive light weight canvas bag to replace an old favorite (a freebee that wasn't well made). I love the feel of carrying supple textile. The dark green with honey brown accent is soothing and beautiful, appropriate for either gender.
Larger and heavier than what I was looking for, I'm hoping that the weight trade off will provide durability for many years of reliable travel. It's too large for overheads but as a 4 day/drive traveler with extra gear, or for 2 people on a long weekend it's great. The front organization pockets are a nice feature, though it's not for exactly designed for the hyper organized.
On appearance it looks durable but I've read reviews that claim the carrying strap is the weakest point and replacing it will be impossible. I haven't tested it yet but if it should break I'll take it to a shoe cobbler. My only disappointment is should available in a smaller size. The best price was on Sierra Trading Post.
