The black was almost a very dark charcoal. Seemed like a high quality and if I had looked ok in it, I would comfortably worn it to high-end office and client meetings. Unfortunately, it made me look huge! Made my arms look especially large ( tha substantal fabric, I guess). But if you are not concerned with that or are a tinier gal I would order it. I returned my size 12 because although it fit well, I looked like a 16 in it.

The collar frames the face nicely and the detailing at the waist gives it a nice, feminine line.
