You will be happy you bought this By Mrs308 from Wisconsin on 08/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this sweater. Dale has always been a favorite of mine. The only thing I wish was different is the sleeves. They are a little on the short side for me(I am almost 6 feet tall), but will probably not be a problem for most.
Makes me wish I live somewhere cold! By VZ from Okinawa, Japan on 06/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Soft, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in a very warm climate but bought this sweater because I've wanted a Dale ever since I visited Norway in 2006. I couldn't bring myself to spend the big bucks at the time-bought a hat instead-but now I'm glad I held out because this is perfect. I am so happy with the fit and quality, I'm really looking forward to showing it off to my Norwegian mother-in-law during the holidays and wearing it skiing next season.

By sweater-girl from Ogden, UT on 01/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very nice sweater, not too heavy or bulky. I love that it doesn't make me look chunky. I loved this sweater so much I bought it in two colors and bought one for my daughter. I will have to wear a silk or cotton undershirt because the wool is a little itchy, but thats no big deal - I usually do that anyway. The wool isn't too heavy, like many of these types of sweaters. The colors are wonderful and vibrant.

By Rakhi's mom from Kirkland, WA on 12/12/2008 Pros: Flattering, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Dale simply makes the best outdoor sweaters for real people who do real outdoor things. City people or folks who've never experienced a cold day in the mountains hiking or skiing may not get it. The wool on this "sports" sweater is "hard" and tight and made to repel snow and rain. It is tightly knit for the same reason. Like real sports wool things used to be made, including the beautiful Norwegian patterned socks and ski caps. I love it! Dale sweaters seem to vary a great deal in how they fit. This one really seems true to size to me. I'd have a dozen Dale sweaters if I could afford them! Oh, I call this one "lightweight" only in comparison to other, heavier Dales. Compared to any ordinary softie it would be heavy.
By prone to cold from denver co on 12/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: ok, first let me say the sweater was high quality and lovely until I put it on. I got the cream/brown one. However the stripes (and perhaps the cut,not sure about that) emphasized my narrow shoulders and made my hips appear wider, resulting in an unflattering silhouette. If you have wide shoulders, you may like it.
By Rakhi's mom from Kirkland, WA on 12/01/2008 Pros: Durable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This wonderful sweater just arrived. I was so excited! But I'm not certain I can keep it. I ordered a large as I'm a 12 or 14 but this one feels tight all over. I need to lose probably 5 lbs. for it to fit really right. And - wow - the neck does not fully zip up at all! It is just too too too tight to completely zip. I'm disappointed as a Dale cardigan I got a week prior (same size) fits perfectly. Quality cannot be beat. I can't afford regular priced Dales so I will be constantly checking Sierra for them. I no longer ski but these sweaters are simply the best1
