Both are wonderful and great for skiing or casual wear. I have large breasts and the xl is a little snug and the stripe looks a little strange over the breast curve, but not enough to not wear it.

By Midori from Massachusetts on 10/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am an S/Size 6 in other Dale of Norway sweaters but bought the M in the Trysil sweater for the adorable light blue color, figuring I could layer under it. The M fit me perfectly with only a cami underneath, so this sweater must run a size small compared to their other sweaters. The knit seems finer, smoother, and less itchy than my other Dale of Norway sweaters. I don't think I'll be wearing it on the slopes, but I will definitely wear it while hanging out after skiing.
