Well worth the investment By Syd from Erlanger KY on 12/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Although the sweater has a windbreaking liner, it does not seem to deflect the wind as much as one I purchased 12 years ago. I was wearing it one windy day and could feel the wind through the sweater. Perhaps I just need to wear more layers underneath but the Dale sweater I bought a long time ago was much better at wind stopping with it's Gortex liner. It is still a wonderful sweater, I probably would not wear it skiing. I love Dale sweaters and own six of them and will never give them up!

Very very happy with my purchase.
By Ski Girl from Minnesota on 12/17/2008 Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Super warm. The inside shell snaps closed at the bottom keeping body heat in. Does make a slight swishy sound as you move due to the lining.
By ABQhiker from Albuquerque, NM on 11/30/2008 Cons: Itchy Fabric, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a medium and this was HUGE! It probably would have fit my husband. I didn't really like the neck, maybe if I was a big woman with a long neck it would have been o.k., the green is a nice color and it would be warm for winter hiking or skiing, but didn't fit me at all. I have several small Dale of Norway sweater that fit great, it seems like there is a big difference between their small and medium size sweaters!

Dale of Norway "Turtagro Sweater" By Tahoe Hiker from San Francisco, Calif on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, On the slopes, Winter Hikes Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great heavy sweater that is wonderful for use in many different weather conditions. The sleeves have a thumb hole so that you can tuck it in to your gloves or just on it's own for milder conditions. The zip-neck really keeps out the wind
On it's own for milder conditions...(the wind proofing is fab) You can layer under for more protection and then throw on a coat and you are ready for the worst. I love Dale clothing...great construction...made to last for years...clasic nordic styling
By ayball from Ann Arbor, MI on 11/08/2008 Cons: TOO BULKY, Too heavy Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved color and the high quality materials used all over. It has a great idea to have both high quality wool sweater and wind and water resistant with wicking feature. It will be a great winter sports, outdoor sports, and able to go out without jacket over it. However, it is too bulky and heavy for my casual wearing purpose.
