By Works on Madison Avenue from Jersey City, NJ on 06/03/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Zipper would not work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This sweater is a beautiful blue color and unlike the other Dale of Norway sweaters, that I pulled over my head, this one had a zipper. I could not get the zipper to work. Also the sweater was too small. I had to send this one back.
Be Careful-Not True to Size By Love the Snow from Ithaca, NY on 02/21/2009 Pros: Flattering, Great Color, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I should have read the other reviews more carefully...this sweater is TOO SMALL, not true to the size marked. I'm so disappointed that I have to return this because I love the soft blue color, the subtle traditional design, two-way sports zipper (handy for cooling off while XC skiing)and overall quality of this beautiful sweater. I bought the 2X because I wanted a generous fit but it actually looks best on a friend who wears size 14 on top. I have been searching for a woman's traditional ski sweater to fit a bigger bustline. Don't they have large women in Norway too?
Great sweater, fits nicely By alpine admirer from Reading, MA on 02/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Soft, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore this skiing and it was very comfortable and warm in addition to a nice design. I bought a 4/6 and I am usually a 2. After reading the previous reviews I thought it had a good chance of fitting me and I was right. It's a very pretty and well made sweater but I would not pay the top retail price for it. This sweater is great for this year and hopefully for many to come. Seems to be made to last.
By Rakhi's mom from Kirkland, WA on 02/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered two sizes up to finally get this sweater to fit but it was worth it. The blue is a lovely soft color that will go with many other colors. It is not as heavy as some Dales but neither is it thin or wimpy. As usual, Dale produces a working sweater that lives up to its name and yet is so pretty that it can be worn out to lunch with the girls.
Quality with a sporty fit By Jan in the Mountains from Garmisch, Germany on 01/28/2009 Pros: Great Color, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This sweater has a sporty cut. Ladies with a trim physique will be most happy with it's fit. I normally wear a small, but ordered a medium because of the numbered sizing. I returned the M because it was too big, and kept the S even though it's a bit snug. The color is a very special beautiful blue that may be hard to match. I like the two way zipper.

I'm waiting for the price to drop to get another one in another color... ;)
By Smiley from Boston, MA on 01/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great quality and very warm, but European sizing is smaller than US, so order next size up.
A beautiful way to stay very warm By Living on the Bay from Traverse City, MI on 01/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This sweater fits beautifully and is the right weight to wear indoors and out, especially thanks to being a full zip (zips up from the bottom as well). Fits comfortably under my soft shell or on top of it. Tightly woven, it holds its shape on, wear after wear. We've been in an arctic front for 2 weeks now, and its become a daily go-to for me. Sheds light/med snow comfortably as an outer layer.
NIce sweater but extremely small By rakhi's mom from KIrkland, WA on 01/19/2009 Pros: Flattering, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful and great Dale workmanship as usual but extremely small. Sadly I will have to return. I'm a 12 or 14 and got the xl. Dale sweaters seem to vary a great deal by size. Another zip up from STP in xl fits great. And yet an earlier one in large swam on my body and had to be returned. I love these sweaters and STP is where I can afford them but, gosh oh golly gee, you really take a chance with fitting.
