Waterproof lightweight, but lack support By E.Lau from Boston, MA on 08/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cushioning, Non-slip sole, Water Resistant Best Uses: Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are fairly lightweight, has lots of cushioning and their material is waterproof (I splashed water on them and they beaded off without soaking the shell). But they lack support for the ankles, and much of the foot, so I won't wear them for hiking. I'll wear them for waling around town and jogging probably on rainy days. Soles are OK (good impact absorption), although they have holes (to save weight) that go to the midsole.
