Bomber for hiking in wet climates By Rob from Columbus, Ohio on 08/04/2009 Pros: Cushy, Durable, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took two pairs of these socks to Dolly Sods wilderness area in West Virginia this past weekend. After constant rain, miles of mucking through puddles and mud, and multiple stream crossings, my feet were pretty much soaked and my Gore-tex was defeated. After all this abuse these socks still retained impressive loft. Twenty miles of soaked trail and my feet were in pretty good shape. Not a single blister or hot spot. I couldn't ask for more from a sock given the conditions we were operating in.

Once the right size shoe is worn these socks fit the bill. They can only do so much and the majority of fit depends on quality shoes. These socks last for numerous seasons.
