Good quality item, but runs small By Appellate lawyer from Houston, TX on 07/01/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color Cons: Color dark for summer, Fabric somewhat rough, Unlined needs a slip Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nomadic Traders runs small, unfortunately. The kicky ruffle edge is very attractive. Rust color makes this a good summer into fall option, but because a slip is required to avoid see-through, it would not be the choice I would reach for if I had to be outdoors in Houston heat.

By rnrgirlNM from nm on 11/09/2008 Cons: Poor Fit, Runs large Best Uses: Going Out, Wear To Work Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked the design, and loved the color, but was sorely disappointed when I tried it on. It runs way too big. I ordered a small, and it was like an extra large.
smaller than expected, but nice By erin from New Mexico on 09/26/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As the XL is listed at 18-20 for this skirt, I expected it to be a good fit for me (I wear size 18 pants, 20s are typically baggy). However, it's very tight across the hips and tends to ride up because of this. Nicely made, attractive cut (the flare at the bottom is nice), and a pretty color (cayenne), but I would steer clear if you're not on the thinner side of 18. It's definitely no 20. Also, I'm 5'2" and it's ankle-length on me, I think the flare would look weird on a taller person, where it would fall just below the knee.
I bought this (along with the matching shirt and jacket) as someone who never dresses up, to dress up for a function, and I think it will fit the bill nicely -- really nice looking without being dressy.
