By 2tundras from sault ste marie, MI on 11/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Cons: Cut for skinny people, No room for a belly, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Hunting underlayer, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product. Meets or exceeds its claims. But, it you even a slight belly it is tight there. Its built for people with 10% body fat. Im 6 foot 220, not skinny, not fat, yet it is a touch tight around the belly.
By Artback from Glen Ellyn, IL on 10/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the quality and styling of this jacket. So far, it's been near perfect for a damp Chicago Autumn. I do wish it had a chest pocket, although the pocket on the left sleeve is just right for my cell phone.
This will be a terrific middle layer beneath my Marmot Gore Tex shell when winter arrives.

Like it so much; I order a second one

By Come from US,CN on 03/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a fantastic soft shell.Looks good, and high quality material.
Lite-Weight defies Gravity! By GoettMann from Maryland Woods on 03/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second Gravity jacket. Returned the first XL due to annoying zipper stitch blem and size.
Bought the XL since it was on sale with intention of wearing over my normal size L fleece. First XL was huge even over fleece, but this one fits smaller and just right. Some complain of arm length, but it's intended for out-stretched arms - Duh! Clearance items sizing and blems can vary from item to item, but if you want a work or serious outdoor jacket and not a Mall Poser, this is a Great Deal!
By Snow lover stuck in Texas from Dallas, TX on 02/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this for skiing and snowmobiling. Just got back from a trip to northern Idaho and this sucker worked great under a vest while snowmobiling and skiing. Might be too light for really cold skiing, but would definitely be a good second layer.
Gravity jacket lives up to the hype! By MOuntain man from Madison, wi on 02/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I found the Gravity to be a beautiful jacket even in the Real Red which is usually a bit too bright for my tastes. Clean lines, warm, very durable and Sierra had the perfect price.

Very stretchy to allow movement. Good pockets and fit. Functional yet stylish...
Great Top Layer System Shell By Goettmann from Maryland, USA on 01/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Cons: Bright RED, Seam Blems Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Received Gravity too late for Obama Parade, so have not used in severe cold yet. Purchased XL to wear over L Marmot Lander fleece jacket as system outdoors in Winter, will be too big alone in Spring. But at this price, purchased another Large Marmot Threshold for wear alone in Spring.Annoyed at Blems, but it's for serious use and not Posing at the Mall! Can't beat the Price!
