Great Jacket for Winter Running By Brown Eyed Girl from Lower Michigan on 11/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running in cold weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been looking for a light weight, warm jacket for winter running in Michigan. I ran today in 30 degree temp and snow with this jacket and a hoodie underneath. About 15 minutes into my run, I had to take off the hoodie because I was overheating. Amazingly warm jacket with just a tank underneath. It's cozy and soft and the thumb holes on the sleeves are great with gloves so that the cold air doesn't go up your sleeves. There are two roomy inside pockets for an ipod or phone and outside pockets zip and are invisible. I am online today looking to buy a second one! Great jacket for the price.
By Anra from Milwaukee, WI on 11/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Those thumb holes are great; they keep my hands warm and free to grasp ski poles, firewood, horse reigns, and my boyfriend's hand. I originally got a medium, my normal size, but it was too small. It's got great stretch, and I usually don't even have to layer it to stay warm.
By skibum from Spokane, WA on 11/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great layering piece! Snug fit which is great for layering under wind, rain or ski jacket, but would be considered "tight" otherwise.Would make good cycling cool weather jacket. I plan to use this for skiing/layering so not too concerned about tight fit. Looks great on!

Great layering piece for winter By skierGal from Bozeman, MT on 11/19/2008 Best Uses: Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is very cozy and warm. Will make a great layer for skiing on cold days and for x-country skiing on it's own. Been using it for fall hiking and it works well. Seems like it will be okay for light snowfall, but not a heavy downpour on it's own. Only con is that it's not very windproof.
By Diana the triathlete from Fort Collins, CO on 11/17/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable and the thumbholes help keep the hands warm on colder days. Great top to hang around the house in during winter or to go out for a hike/run.
By Bertie, the bird watcher from Wynnewood, PA on 11/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This product is for casual use only. The exterior fabric has a nice feel; the lining is polartec and is cozy and warm. The jacket is perfect for layering as it is not heavy. I am a very early morning walker, i.e; 5:00 a.m. and it is great against the chill. I also wear it in my house to keep warm as our thermometer is kept low inorder to save on fuel costs. The only minus is that the sleeves are long but they can be pushed up.
By gym rat from indiana on 11/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this jacket. It is very soft and extremely warm. I used to layer and layer just to stay warm, but not anymore. This jacket fits my curves (5'10" 140 pounds) and the sleeves are actually long enough (I ordered a small due to chest and waist size, but the small arm length is surprisingly the right size).
I recommend this coat to everyone. I would buy more colors if I could.
By Lara from Monument, CO on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Has thumb holes, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I take this fleece everywhere! I wear it to work, I've worn it while rock climbing, mountain biking, and just out and around. It's lightweight and super warm. I use it just over my base layer. I like it so much I'm thinking about getting the other color. I'm really small around the torso, but I've got a long upper body and long limbs (sometimes that happens when you're pusing 5'11"), so I ordered a medium and the length was perfect. I could even get my thumbs through the thumb holes on the sleeves without putting the fabric in serious tension. All in all, great product!
