By mArKr from Anchorage, AK on 09/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking, Skiing, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got these for my wife, after several years of using Schoeller gear myself. Mammut is better tailored than mine. Good price for elite fabric. Schoeller IS all it's cracked up to be. I expect these to become her go-to pants (by themselves, with long undies if chilly, with a shell if wet or windy, with both in winter). Would have given five stars but hers were small, and she had to go up two full sizes from usual.

These pants are just what I was looking for.
Great protection, comfy to wear all time, nice fit.
not lightweight, don't really like style By just me from alaska on 05/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Cons: Heavy, Not as described for use, Read my review Best Uses: Snowshoeing, X-Country Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not lightweight or packable for spring/summer wear, backpacking or travel. Cargo pockets add mucho pounds to slim hips! Might keep for winter wear...skiing or snowshoeing, and when looking bulky doesn't matter, because it's winter and everyone looks bulky anyway.

Mammut Schoeller marvelously comfortable By none from oregon on 02/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking, Travel Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants are very light and comfortable. I have used them hiking, traveling, and just walking around town.
They did not look good on me. By Rose from Seattle, WA on 02/05/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Packable Cons: Baggy, Hole in pocket Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The material was OK, but there was a hole in the pocket where the seamstress missed the seam. When I pay this much for pants I expect better construction. They were baggy around the upper thigh which made me feel dumpy. They fit well around the hips and waist. They were the correct length.

These fit nicely, thanks to the option for short in the larger sizes. Cargo pockets, fabulous features, esp for xc touring on fine or windy days, or skiing the lifts. Cool and cold weather hiking/climbing essential gear.
