By STP Fan from Durham, NC on 02/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Cons: Legs a little too fitted, Runs small Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these for my husband. He's been looking for pants to wear in cold wet weather. Now they're all he wears! I read the reviews that they run small, so I got large even though he usually wears a medium. They fit fine in the waist. The legs are more tapered than most pants - give a slight paratrooper fit but it's OK.
Purposeful pants for trekking but... By MellonC from Pasadena, CA on 01/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It serves its purpose well. Warm, wind resistant, water resistant, and stretchy at the same time. But sizing is definitely off. The gap between large and extra large is too much. (large is too small and XL is too big)

By BJ from Riverside, CT on 11/18/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Nordic Walking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a size slightly larger than I wear because I may want to add a base layer. The first pair I received was much too snug, even with the amount of stretch the pants offer. I exchanged them for the next size up and they are perfect.

By The White Kenyan (due to my running) from New England on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for hiking in colder/rainy weather. I absolutely love these pants. Sherpa Adventure Gear is a great company. As long as you can look past their typos, you will be very satisfied with a first rate product.
By Arthur from Yorktown, VA on 09/19/2008 Pros: Neoprene like material, Packable Cons: Fit issues, Strange material Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered three pairs of these pants in size 32 (all different colors). Two of the pairs were quite snug - probably cut to a 30-31, and the other pair was baggy in the waist - maybe cut to 34. The material feels like a soft neoprene, and the legs hug pretty close. I wasn't particularly happy with the purchase, so I sent them all back.
Getting another pair for my brother By tron from seattle, WA on 09/07/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these for hiking and I like them a lot. My only criticism is that a couple zip vents would have been nice.
