Everyone who has complained about the tangling issues has never loaded a fly line before. All you have to do is load it on an old line spool or simply put something round inside the coil and roll it off.
The downside to this line is it's not as slick as a top-tier line. It also tended to sink and needed to be managed more often to maintain floatability.
I would say the other Redington line is a better value, though it's of slightly lower quality.
excelent product with great price By Florida Samurai from Stuart, Florida on 05/08/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I heard that some people had a hard time spooling this line, caz it's tangled like a bird nest. I have a little suggestion to solve that problem: you need a soda or beer can, paper towel & scotch tape. put paper towel around a can till just little samller diameter than a coil of line, scotch tape it then insert it into the coil of a line. Happy spooling ^_^

By Captainpursuit from Alligator Point, Fl on 03/23/2009 Cons: Tangles easy when opened Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This appears to be a substandard bulk flyline, however, it comes unboxed in a clear plastic bag with no manufacturer information or directions. When you open the bag, the coil easily tangles. I put three lines on three different reels and all tangled.
