Sizing Too Large for Women By powderbunny from SC on 07/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The socks looked nice,...but I was disappointed by the sizing and flaw in the fabric on the sock cuff. I had not worn the socks at all, and was surprised to find a hole. Although the socks were way too large, they felt okay in my waterproof boots. (I'm hoping they will shrink.)
I would have returned them, had I not been on a trip and in need of hiking socks. This is what I packed, so this is what I used.
These were advertised as fitting both men and women, but I think they really are made to fit the wider foot of men better. Unless they shrink a lot, my husband just got 3 almost new pairs of hiking socks.
