Going to the northeast with a kid headed off to college in the frozen north. But one piece of the fur trim has fallen off already and I hope it will hold up under adverse conditions.

I'm sitting on the fence to call customer service to return them due to most of the rabbit fur trim on the top of the boot rubbed off after ONE day of wearing. I'm so sad b/c I love them, but they look like they are BALDING!

Rugged but stylish, and it receives many compliments. Very good traction in snow and slush. Leather protectant and stain-proofing would be a good idea. The leather is a light color, and will show stains.

I had been wearing my old Merrill hikers as a substitue for snow boots for years. I can believe that I have functioned without these ULUs@! They are grippy, delightfully warm, and comfortable. My only gripe is that the rabbit fur sheds and some of the hide is balding. Even if the fur fell off, I would still be happy with these boots. They are sooooo comfy!

I unfortunately had to return this boot because I bought it to wear for walking to work. I wear a lot of black and the rabbit fur sheds. If the fur were black I would have probably kept them as they are really comfy and nice looking, but they did not suit my purpose.

I was able to adjust them snugly around my shin to keep the snow out, without them feeling constricting nor limit my movement.
