By catnapster from Stamford, CT on 09/28/2009 Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally wear a size 7, and I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly (I don't plan on wearing socks with these--why get shearling otherwise?). Very cozy and not as heavy as I expected (which is good). Soft leather uppers and looks like they'll be great in the snow. Pleased with purchase.
By Prestwid from Sydney Australia on 05/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wonderful after a session ice skating. Good to wear casually in the evening with long trousers. Not so keen to wear in the wet weather, as I am reluctant to stain outer leather with water. Overall, I am extremely impressed with both your product[...] Keen to deal with you again.Lisa PrestwidgeSydney Australia
This style definitely runs small! By winter walker from Ann Arbor, MI on 02/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Very good quality, Warm Cons: They indeed run small Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have these boots in an earlier version. They haven't worn out but my feet grew after having a child. They are the best boots I have ever owned - warm, comfortable and supportive. However, this style runs VERY small! There is a lot of variation in sizing among the different styles in this brand. So far, the Suluks and the waterproof insulated crows are the truest to size. I wear a size 7 and this seven fits me like a size 6. Would be great if they fit!!!
By skier girl from Milwaukee, WI on 02/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wish I could keep these boots, however they do run a half size smaller than normal. I am trying another ULU boot. Great for WI weather!!
By Baca13 from Park City, Utah on 02/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The size is half a size off. Too small, but not too small to return. The boots are WARM, cute, do well in snow. The traction is not that great, but they are waterproof so far.
By Donna from Davison, MI on 02/04/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Insole on my boot was defective, not comfortable at all.
By A Mom from boston on 01/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots ran small. Buy 1/2 size larger. I suspect that each boot varies a little in fit. Not sure if they need to be treated for waterproofness. Love the tread on the bottom, very secure walking.
By Reb from Colorado on 01/21/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although cute, I had to send mine back. I ordered down half a size as suggested and they were way too uncomfortable to wear on a regular basis because of it. I ended up ordering a different style of Ulu's.
By josie from Green Bay, Wi. on 01/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight Cons: Not sure about warmth yet, Size is a problem Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Outdoor work in winter, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: We do farm appraisals and are outdoors for long periods of time. These boots are warmer than any I've had, but not sure if they are going to be as snuggy as I'd like. Also I ordered 2 different styles of ULU and neither were the correct size. I am keeping the snugger ones.
