By supercutie from tucson on 04/11/2009 Cons: Irregular Fit, Not enough pockets, Shorts smaller than liner Best Uses: Commuter cycling, Mountain biking Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been looking for a nice pair of MTB shorts to wear on the trails and around town. I read all the reviews before ordering, even went to the Shebeest website to double check the size chart. So I knew I was taking a chance on MEDIUM. Here's the problem, Shebeest tends toward low-rises, short inseams and odd fit (I've had great fit in a knicker and baby-size in shorts, all Mediums) These Shorts have the perfect fitting liner short and a too small outer-short. Not only that, the liner shorts are longer than the outer short which defeats the purpose of a liner. Ordering up won't help, so I am horribly disappointed! Returning them and I'll cut the brief out of one of my Hind shorts. I'll end up with more pockets too!
By Hot Mama from Grand Junction, Colorado on 03/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Nice Color, Stylish, Versatile, Washes Well Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shorts for walking, biking, working out. I am not a small person and these shorts fit well. I did not use the liner, it is easy to remove.
By pukabeast from black mountain, nc on 03/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, High Quality, Nice Color, Stylish, Versatile Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only problem with shorts is that they are sized to fit without liner and for smaller framed women. Medium is more like 6-8 without liner. Too tight for mountain biking! Great for showing your butt off!

Very comfortable and movable.

By beach gal from Olympia, WA on 07/14/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Beach wear, Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend, Walking Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Eclectic, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got these for a trip to Kauai. Great look, great feel, dry fast. Didn't need the sport liners, so cut them out. However, because the liners are made with great bike padding I use them for biking under another pair of shorts. Fit great. Aloha!
Nice shorts, didn't need the liner By Mountain Gal from New Mexico on 07/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Flattering, Stylish Describe Yourself: Outdoors woman Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Super comfortable for hiking and hanging out. The fabric is light, breezy and has lots of "give" for climbing snow fields or scaling cliffs. Repels stains and looks great. I just wore them on a 4-day backpacking trip, where I hiked to 13,200 ft. and wore them all the time. Only thing is, I never needed the liner. I stripped it out of the shorts a month ago and have never used it. I will plan to use these shorts for surfing in Maui, but will not use the liner then. The liner feels kinda creepy and clammy, and I just don't like it. I wish they sold these same shorts minus the liner, I would buy it in every color!
By KayKanu from Boulder, CO on 07/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stain Resistant, Stylish, Versatile Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, BikeNhike, Career, Casual Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable to ride in, but look like "real shorts" to walk into work or a store, if you don't feel good about the skin-tight look. They run smaller than other brands I am used to, but are very stretchy, and ordering up a size helped too.
