By writer from Tucson, Arizona on 07/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Padding Cons: Design a little bright Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement, Strength Training, Trails, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an excellent w alking shoe. While it feels a little snug because of its design it does a good job of supporting the foot. I have had two feet operations and this shoe protects the feet, supports the whole foot, and makes me stand straighter. Highaly recommend this shoe for serious walkers.
Nice for walking on concrete By yoginiTaya from pittsburgh pa on 07/24/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes make me feel light and I can feel a difference in the way they make me use my legs. They gave me blisters at first though. I think it's because they are a bit snug, the size is just a little small, less than half a size though.

I bought these for walking. Once you get a pair, you might not want to wear anything else. I ordered half a size up as suggested and they fit perfectly.
I would buy this product again. By Sherry from Barstow, Ca. on 07/23/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
looks good but haven't worn them yet. By starr from orting, wa on 07/23/2008 Best Uses: Endurance Training, Strength Training Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am 61 and broke my ankle in late March. I was in a wheelchair for two months and had surgery during two weeks following the break. My muscles in the leg atrophied. I found the shoes in Women's Health mag and decided to try them to build strength in my leg as well as the physical therapy. I tried MBT out while in Germany so knew my size. Ordered them while in Germany from STP and they were here when I arrived home. The sandals are great and the tennis shoes fit fine without socks, but may not with them. I am trying to decide if I need a larger size due to the fact that I may be wearing socks sometimes. I plan on taking both pairs of my MBT's (sandals and tennis) with me to Nepal in Oct. We travel a great and it always very difficult to find shoes for extended walking. My feet are very difficult to fit.
When we tried on the shoes in Germany my German friend bought a pair too. She said that her 80 year old mother already had a pair.
If I love these pairs I will go on to the hiking shoes.

Website suggests to order 1/2 size larger, I would suggest a full size larger.

By walker from Tucson, AZ on 07/16/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been waiting for these shoes to be affordable so that I could buy them. I have not been at all dissapointed in my purchase. It takes a little time to get use to standing on the curved bottoms but I can really feel the muscles in my legs working after wearing them all day. It is very important to buy a half size larger than usual. The shoes seem snug when you first put them on but quickly adjust. These are well worth buying.
