Don't judge a book by its cover By Ronnie from Ames, Iowa on 07/14/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: ordered these a full size larger than my normal shoe size (read the reviews on Zappos.com for correct size info!) Have worn them on 4 mile walks but haven't worn them on 7 mile walks, yet. Left shoe a size larger fits well, right shoe (bigger foot) my little toes feel numb after a couple miles. Should be better when worn longer and the shoe has stretched a little. Comfortable shoe. Hard to walk on gravel as not very stable on uneven surfaces, which I expected. No leg or shin pain with these yet - so I do like them. I have the sandals, which I love, and ordered the hiking boots for fall and winter.
would recommend excellent shoe By mml from Milwaukee, WI on 07/13/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Padding, Versatile Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement, Strength Training, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have moderate to severe back and hip issues and these shoes help to make life a lot better. Start slow with these shoes and work up to longer walks, they have a totally different feel. Order 1/2 size up from normal shoe size. MBT shoes are extremely comfortable and they do work your muscles!
