I have bought this product again and aga By maxperson from bedminster, nj on 11/12/2009 Best Uses: Everyday, Larger Dogs, Training Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The reasons that I have had to replace this collar several times are good and bad news....The good news is that they wash well...and since the dog rolls in every kind of manure on the farm they must be washed often....and they do this very well....I need to have at least two on hand at all times.
The bad news is that the plastic buckle that alters the neck size, when chewed by the dog...(my fault) develops very sharp edges and is no longer usable. I guess I should have asked you if there is a way to get replacements. When replaced with a metal buckle, there is no further problem, but the metal buckle tends to slip a bit.

We have not had this problem since we bought this collar which was much better than a choke chain.

This collar provides just the right amount and makes walks much easier and controllable which we both like. The collar has been really durable and looks great.

They are very attractive collars and appear to be
