We have not had this problem since we bought this collar which was much better than a choke chain.

This collar provides just the right amount and makes walks much easier and controllable which we both like. The collar has been really durable and looks great.

20 lbs and the small size fits both very nicely.
They are very attractive collars and appear to be
even more durable than the collars they have been
wearing for three years.

I dont as a rule leave anything on my dogs ALL the time so I cannot comment on alot of issues..easy on and off, no fidgets.
