I dont as a rule leave anything on my dogs ALL the time so I cannot comment on alot of issues..easy on and off, no fidgets.

The construction is smart and very durable, however I did purchase another four collars for down the road just in case I might find that I need them, as being close-outs I wanted to be sure I could continue to use this collar that works so very well.

We usually have to use a separate choke chain for walking but not anymore this is all in one. The only problem is we ordered large for our lab and large for our Aussie Shepard mix and the collar is too large.

Surprisingly, my dog seemed immediately more comfortable. I have good control and she responds well. This appears to be well made and has road-tested well. I would definitely buy another one. I like the humane idea and it seems to resonate with the dog.

But, I ended up returning it because the chain part turned my dog's white neck-ruff on her upper chest an ugly gray color. I tried washing the collar three times over a few-weeks period because I thought it might be manufacturing oils left on the metal. But it was something about that metal chain and my dog's white fur that didn't agree. Great for a dark-colored dog! I'd still be using it if my dog didn't have a white neck!

The only fault is my dog is 80-85 lbs and I can not make it small enough to really "choke" him. I guess when his is bigger it will be great but for now it's just too big.

With a gentle hand, and proper method, our Pugs respond to what this collar is used for. It should be removed when not in training as the chain part hangs just enough that it could get caught on something and cause injury.
