I also bought one for our older bloodhound.
They work very well on walks and our comfortable for both dog and human.

The collar has a tab to hang tags, also has an extra d-ring so you can use it as regular collar.

I had a pinch, which is great but kept falling off (dangerous), and then a traditional choke, but hat made my dog gasp and wheeze when corrected.
This coolar adds control without the wheezing and coughing. It seems well built so I doubt it will fall apart any time soon.
My wife thinks the daisey design makes our female feel more femine. I cannot say.
I bought the river design for the dogs at the pound. For the price, I recommend buying one for your pound and why not bring some treats as well.

Easier to attach leash with bigger center ring and easily adjustable. He looks fabulous with his Scottish blue on.

Especially nice to have when a leash isn't handy -just grab the chain and tighten and dog is controllable.
