Since it wasn't what I was expecting, I returned the purse. It is a cute, small style though.

First of, I am unsure of the leather color (I got the brown), it looks strangely one-dimensional to me and not too high-quality. I also am not fond of the "gathered" bottom of the bag - again, this gives this bag a somewhat cheap touch. The same goes for the interior seam of the leather flap, it just doesn't look good or upscale. Keep in mind that this bag retails for almost 100 dollars and that should be reflected in the quality of workmanship.
On the upside, the leather is extremely soft, and the lining (beige with reddish-brown and olive dots) is quite cute and dresses up the bag. I like the adjustable strap, too, and am not sure what the other reviewer complained about regarding the strange design here. When the strap is fully extended, it does not need to be "clicked" in place, there are two leather buckles that hold it in just fine.
A few other observations:
I like the outer strap holding in the flap, it serves as added security because the flap itself only has a magnetic closure. Personally I would have prefered a zipper closure under the flap, and also an interior zippered pocket - the bag only has two open pockets inside, suitable for a cell phone and maybe a small notepad.
I will keep it but can't help feeling slightly disappointed.

By Mainiac from Portland, ME on 09/09/2008 Pros: Attractive, High Quality Best Uses: Everyday, Running Errands Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The strap is strangely designed... it snaps when fully doubled, but then there is no place to snap in any other position. I'm also bummed that there are no external pockets. And I wish there were an internal zipper pocket But the leather of the main bag is lovely. (FYI, I have the black and the lining is beige with rust and olive dots.)

I don't like carrying an additional purse. I drop this little bag into the tote when I need to carry more. And, I can lift it out whenever I don't need to haul all the other items.
