By Outdoor Photographer from London, England on 01/19/2009 Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe is one of the most comfortable I have ever worn, especially in the toe box. It is supportive without being too tight, and the "suspension" idea works. It doesn't have great traction in the mud, especially sideways, but I'm not sure other shoes would fare better (the mud itself was really slippery). I wore them hiking in near-freezing temps and through some pretty wet, sodden terrain, and had no problems with my feet getting cold or wet, though they are not waterproof. Overall, I'm really pleased with them and ordered a second pair for when the first pair wears out!

By Singlespeeddave from South Bend Indiana on 12/15/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just started running trails to cross train for the mountain bike race season and I love these shoes. I don't have other trail running shoes to compare these to but I'm sure they would rank at the top.
fast, light, shock absorbing trail shoes By mack the knife from San Luis Obispo, California on 11/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Golyte makes outstanding products across the line from clothing to sleeping bags and this ultralightweight hiking/trail shoe is no exception. Extremely supportive and comfortable, these shoes eat up the trail, absorb rock and granite pounding, and greatly expand comfort and distance range for day hikes or trail runs. I love them!!
