Very nice for the price; size runs big By Miss Kel from Ithaca, NY on 03/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Night Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the skirt but it is too big. When I ordered size 2, I was worried it would be too small, but figured the stretch in the fabric would allow a bit of extra room. Turns out it was too BIG instead. I would definitly recommend ordering 1-2 sizes smaller than you normally do.
By exercisejunkienomore from Sussex County, NJ on 03/10/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice basic skirt for a middle aged woman. It is from Orvis so the sizing is what you would expect it to be. Despite what the picture looks like, the style is very forgiving. Besides not having a waistband they also put in a few inches of elastic in the back so there is no sagging and room for expansion after eating. I was absolutely delighted to be able to find a decent looking skirt that didn't need alteration, is machine washable and will look good if I have to look good. Wish it came in more colors. Plan to pair it with some of the jackets I just picked up from STP. Now I need some warm weather skirts that look just as nice.

By Hiker chick from Cambridge, MA on 09/13/2008 Cons: Low Quality, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought 2 of these skirts to wear to the office. I was hoping they were that nice flattering rayon weave, but alas, they are more like a stretch nylon twill. The fabric is kind of thin, and the stretch is not the flattering kind. Although the skirt was sized too large and was practically falling off my waist, I still felt like it was a little too snug looking on my curves for the office. There are also funny seams in the hip area. The zipper was kind of difficult, and it felt a little cheap overall. Not impressed. These were returned.
By Margaret from Chicago on 09/11/2008 Cons: Low Quality, Poor Fit, Wrinkles Easily Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Poorly made- hem is uneven, fabric is cheap. Big in the waist and hips, narrow at the hem. Even at the sale price, it is not worth it.
