One of my lightest boots! By Mountain Breeze from San Francisco, CA on 03/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Secure Fit Best Uses: Everyday/Practical Use, HikingTrekking Describe Yourself: Trekker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered a pair for myself and my boyfriend. Didn't really require any breaking in and it was amazingly light! I found it a big snug even though my feet are narrow. But overall, it's really comfortable.
Took it out on a 10 days trek to Annapurna Base Camp less than one month after purchase. We really appreciated the lightweight yet supportive boots. Although I've always loved vibram soles, it didn't work well on the smooth wet rock surface and we were slipping frequently. Other than that, it's fantastic!

By swimmerajp from Arlington, VA on 12/17/2008 Pros: Easy On/Off, Great Traction, Secure Fit Best Uses: Everyday/Practical Use Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boots - vasque never dissapoints. Too low on my ankle so they didn't work for me, but otherwise super comfy. Walked around on my carpet for a while trying to make them work for me... no luck. Ordered another style instead. Great quality. Perfect hikers or every day boots.
Okay on first day of wear By Hiking Angel from Las Vegas, Nevada on 11/30/2008 Cons: A little stiff at first Best Uses: Moderate hiking Describe Yourself: Avid hiker, Strenuous Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A little stiff at the beginning but relatively no need for breaking in. Can use softer padding on the ankles. My favorite hiking boots was a Vasque but could not find the exact model that I had. This model is the best replacement I could find.

Important to wear them around the house, up and down stairs for an hour or two before deciding to keep any boots!
