By tgsmithsr from Mechanicsburg, PA on 02/13/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Lightweight, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Career, Comfort-Oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good glasses for all-season wear and travel due to the photochromic lenses. You can bring one pair any time of year any place and be sure the tint will be just right for the conditions, except maybe in really bright sunlight, such as at the beach. Cuts glare well, too.
By happy feet from colorado on 01/29/2009 Cons: Inadequate Tint, Poor Protection Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Not good enough for the colorado late afternoon sun. The glare was blinding and I saw spots after the looking thru my tinted windows at the sun. I needed these for driving and they didn't work for me.

I am new to photochromic lenses, but I was expecting a bit more of a noticeable shift in tinting in bright sunlight. It could be that the winter days haven't been bright enough, but so far I haven't seen much darkening of the lenses.
