We ended up using it on my roommate's 17 year old blue heeler who was declining and couldn't stay warm. This was wonderful for him, it kept him comfortable in his last months of life. It was easy to put on and take off, we washed it several times with ease, it was perfect.

These run not only "a full size too small" but I would say even two or three sizes too small. I have two cockaliers, medium to medium-small in size and even the large/xlarge size would not fit around their middle...and they're definitely not overweight dogs! I was so bummed because these are really darling and would have been very nice for the dogs in our frigid Chicagoland winters. I give it a three star rating only because the sizing is sooooo off--and I say I would recommend it to a friend but that would only be to a friend with SMALL dogs! Quality and looks-wise they're great.

The luck of the draw gave her a small head and the Corgi barrel-chest. So this very substantial coat looks a little silly on her. But I still tell her how beautiful she is. (Which she is, no matter what she wears!) I assume the shearling is very warm on her back, chest & upper abdomen, which is important for the below-zero days here. Easy on, easy off - no fumbling with her paws. Love that!
It was just as advertised. The coat medium/large size fits tightly and the velcro keeps coming undone.

It was absurdly small - 12" from neck to back. Not even my smaller dog could fit his head through the opening. The leather quality was questionable - very thin and looks like it would rip in no time. I'm extremely disappointed that there was such an enormous discrepency between what is claimed and what arrived.
Great for teens/single digit weather! To me, it is perhaps more for a male dog in it's look, but really does not matter. Everyone that sees it loves it and it fits great I love how they cut this design, very comfortable on my dog and functional.

This is the best I've found so far. The trim around the armholes chafes a little bit on long walks, but it's well designed and well made otherwise.

This coat is well made and extremely light weight. Buttery soft shearling keeps the dog warm without adding any bulk. It was suggested to measure the dog from the neck to the tail and go down one or two sizes but I bought the the coat true to size to cover full body.
