May never buy cotton socks again By Jungle Jim from Phoenix, AZ on 06/06/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these for day hikes through the Jungle. Loved them so much, I don't want to every wear another pair of cotton socks again. Even with several days wearing the same boots at close to 100% humidity, my feet never felt soggy like they do wearing cotton socks for 1/2 day in the dry heat of Phoenix. I think I'll buy some more and start wearing them every day instead of cotton. Had friends with me who thought I was crazy putting on wool socks to hike in the Jungle, but they were hating their cotton socks and asking me about my wool ones within a day.

I use these socks for everything from standing post to running for miles through the mountain trails of Maryland.
