They are great. Anytime I can get them cheap even better. I do wear them out but much slower than cotton socks. My husband's always go in the heel, mine just seem to fade away.

smartwool socks are always a smart buy By Teri W. from Collinsville, IL on 12/07/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Dry Easily, Durable, Warm, Wicking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use smartwool or bridgedale wool socks for running year round. They stay cool in summer and warm in winter, it's amazing. Once you wear wool socks you won't wear cotton or other fabrics again. They also insulate in wet conditions. The cushioning is very nice on these socks. They may cost more but it's worth it, they last for years or at least mine do.

These fit well, last forever and provide just the right amount of support - especially for the arch of the foot.
Marvelous.
