OUCH! The packaging says this bulge is supposed to help prevent the sock from sliding down! Nope, not working.
I was so excited to have socks that were long enough for my feet, but these are not at all good.

The women's large lists as a women's 10-12.5. Let me assure you it's a 10 at best. I find that the men's version of these socks (#11475-71-L) are actually more true to size. The men's version lists as a men's 9-11.5. The men's are a perfect women's 10 1/2. I have literally worn out several pairs of these socks and that was no small feat because they are very durable.
