I need comfort and durability in socks and these fit the bill nicely. An added benefit is the tight weave which prevents the tiny ticks from burrowing through the sock and into my skin.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I found that a lightweight wool sock worked great for canoeing and kayaking where feet tend to stay wet most of the day. Wool maintains temperature without getting too hot and dry fairly fast. These are slightly thicker on the bottom than my last socks but feel like they will still dry pretty fast in non humid areas. They are very comfortable and are good foot warmers when the house is cool.
