By Chuck from SH, Michigan on 11/09/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible Cons: Uppers wear out too quick, Wears Out Quickly Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My only problem was that Sierra didn't have more than one pair in my size. I've had such good luck with these shoes I wanted to order 3-4 pairs.
By Neighborhood Walker from Sacramento, CA. on 10/23/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Consider ordering a half size larger if you wear cushioning socks. I've worn Etonics for the past several years, and the quality control has been commendable for the shoes that I've ordered. This is the same model that I've previously ordered. Used for walking on pavement. Impact absorption and shoe materials has been good up to 250 miles for me.
Comfortable, Supportive Running Shoes By Leelee from Columbia, MO on 10/12/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes for my college-age son, who runs 3 or 4 miles about 4 or 5 times a week. He has wide feet with a somewhat low arch and usually has limited choices in finding shoes that fit. He said that these Etonic Praya running shoes were very comfortable from the moment he tried them on. Although he has only had them a short while, he is extremely pleased with how they feel on his feet while jogging. He says they are lightweight, cushiony, and give him good support.

These shoes provide the support and comfort for that kind of training program.

By Jeff from columbus, ohio on 09/11/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoes are nice, but seem a little large for the width I need. Very comfortable if a bit large, working well for running

Lightweight cool comfort, great support By Demersal from Long Island, NY on 08/24/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Trails, Working Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice and roomy toe box, great support in the heel, very breezy mesh tops. They were too tight on top for me when laced in until I left out the last eyelets, now perfect! They are not grippy on bike pedals but they aren't built for that so not really a negative.
Solid lightweigt training shoe By Training for Half Marathon from Fairfield, CT on 08/21/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had these shoes for only about 2 weeks, but in that time have used them about 6 times for runs between 3 and 8 miles. I am confident enough with them now to wear them for even longer runs. There was a little rubbing in the heels on the first wearing, but not enough for blisters, and they have since broken in nicely. I find them comfortable and well cushioned, and the fit is perfect in the size I have been measured for. Can't comment on durability yet, but they seem solid. Nice balance of cushioning and light weight- very comfortable.
By ChuckW from South Haven, MI on 08/11/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Durable soles Cons: Upper lasts only 300 mile Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For the closeout price this shoe can't be beat, but I would never pay retail for these shoes due to the uppers not lasting. BTW, I'm on my third pair of these. I found if you think you may need a wide size, with this shoe, you should go wide.
