By California sunshine runner from Bay Area, California on 01/19/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Excellent fit, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Motion control, Stable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been running for 15 years and have gone through every brand of shoe imaginable - looking for the 'perfect shoe' - every shoe I had tried previously always had a shortcoming or two (or more!) I was running in Asics when it came time to buy another pair of shoes - I went to my local running store that had a professional shoe fitter, and he suggested these Etonic Jepara shoes - I had never heard of the brand, but tried them on anyways - as soon as I put them on, I was so excited to have found them - they really are the perfect shoe. Stability, motion control, cushioning, perfect fit, lightweight, no rubbing anywhere, easy to keep proper form - I have since run through three more pairs of this shoe, and am SO happy Sierra Trading Post has them for such a great price-! I am going to buy extra of these shoes in case they discontinue it-!
By Over 40 and workin' hard from Kansas City, Mo on 01/12/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my 3rd pair of this shoe. I use it to work out 4 days a week and wanted a lightwieght shoe with lots of side stability for both aerobic and weight-lifting workouts. I have a high arch and still add an insole but I love this shoe!
By She who can't sit still for long from Leesburg, VA on 12/17/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Stable Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For years I have run between 15-25 miles per week but overpronate hard. Have tried many shoes. This shoe is one of the best I have ever run in. These shoes are extremely stable w/ great cushioning but are not lightweight. However you would never know it when you run in them. The heel strike is effortless with great energy return on the forefoot (not like dragging around bricks with some shoes). No pain in the knees, ankles or back unlike my last pair which broke down completely in under 2 months. Fits snugly in the heel and the ankle but the forefoot does have alot of room which can make for some sliding around in thin socks.
By Pearlene from South Carolina on 11/25/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear them to work because I have to do a lot of walking. My only complaint is that if you wear low socks, the high back of the shoe rubs the sock down off your foot. For some reason, this doesn't happen with ankle-high socks!
When it's time, I'll buy these again. By aerobics girl from Greensboro, NC on 11/24/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read other reviews that said to order a half size bigger and am glad I did. They fit great and are very comfortable. I am very pleased w/ this pair of shoes. I have flat feet and they are supportive yet comfortable and well made.
Looks great and just enough support By just a mom trying to keep up from arkansas on 11/22/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am overweight and am constantly looking for an athletic shoe that is comfortable enough to wear all day. Most athletic shoes are designed for runners with ever increasing harder soles with either too much arch or not enough. This shoe finds the right combination of cushion, stabilization, and arch support.
I don't normally require a wide shoe, but decided to try a size D just to see what it felt like. It suprisingly fits really well, lots of toe room but snug in the heel. I love the color as well. I am ordering another pair! They do run small so order a 1/2 size bigger as suggested.
I would buy this shoe again. Easy Spirits are garbage compared to these shoes. These are the most comfortable shoes I've found. There is room for the toes without feeling like big clown shoes and the heel stays put without sliding around, the shoe laces stay tied all day, traction is great, airy and light weight. I forget they are on. I ware them for every activity I do.

By rae from toledo,Oh on 11/10/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Hard to find reasonably priced women's athletic shoes in size 12. They fit well, but my toe is within an eighth of an inch of the tip...not a problem for gym use, but might be an issue for a runner.
