By NJo - swimmer (AND runner) from Allentown, PA on 11/14/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Cons: That it was discontinued Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm not really a gym rat, but more than casual and less than competitive. Started running @ 54 and this is the support I needed! I put them on and they make me FEEL like running! What more could one ask? Bought them last year @ a running store and went back this year to find that the updated version wasn't as good - thank goodness for Sierra Trading Post!!!!!!!!!!!
By SarahB from Idaho on 11/13/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes arrived just before my 1/2 marathon. I ran the whole 13.1 miles in them after only one 3 mile training run (my old ones were that bad).
It was a rainy/chilly day, but my feet stayed dry and comfortable! I think they would be too warm for warm weather running though. They are amazingly light compared to my other weather resistant & trail running shoes. All in all, it's nice to finally have shoes that work for my low arches and moderately wide feet!

Poor excuse for stability shoe By Running Gal from Colorado on 09/30/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am an avid runner and was using these shoes to train for a marathon. I over-pronate and require stability and cushioning. These shoes did not meet expectations & seemed to contribute to growing joint pain in both my hips and knees. I would not recommend this product.
