They feel soft, and the liner is nicer than other shorts that I own. It doesn't have an inside key pocket, but it does have a mp3 player pocket on the hip. I put my key in there and it felt fine. The shorts are cut to sit low on the waist. It felt odd at first, but was fine to run in. Overall, a good pair of shorts for the price.

The MP3 pocket is terrific --makes listening to books or music easy and secure.
The fabric is very silky without being cheesy. The liner fits very well and the no waist band style is very comfy. They are OK for style but not the most flattering fit -- but that's not important for my use.
