By Penguin from Canton, NC on 02/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket for my husband and he was so pleased. The fit was great and the hood and pockets he thought were great especially for golfing in inclement and cooler weather. He also loved the idea that this jacket could be worn for other occasions and not just sports.
Good fit, good color, not worn out yet By Tim from Tampa Bay on 02/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Actually, I haven't worn it out yet, so this is really a comment on the fit. I trust the water proofness will bear out. I've never had a problem with Gore-Tex as a waterproof, layering jacket.

Well made, but not for me. By Knife Man from El Cerrito, CA on 02/03/2009 Cons: Baggy mesh lining, Female zipper pull, Stiff collar, Too short for me Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is actually a well-made jacket, and as you can see, I would recommend this to a friend, but with some cautions. I read all the reviews on this jacket and thought I'd get used to the "female" zipper pull, the baggy mesh lining that needs to be jiggled so it doesn't hang out the sleeve, the stiff collar when the hood is stored, etc. But those "cons" all together just made this a jacket I didn't want to keep, so I returned mine. Further, at 5'10", with a short waist, this jacket still was just a little short, hitting me just above the jean pockets. I realized for a rain jacket, I want something a little more over the butt (perhaps a 32-34" jacket). Anyway, for the price, it's a good deal, but just not for me.
Limited storage capability. By Out there from Southeast on 01/20/2009 Pros: Not tested in condition Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Limited pockets. The product needs pockets on the interior of garmet for storage.
By Paul from Chicago, IL on 01/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I received my jacket from Sierra Trading Post last week and have since worn it three times. I live in Chicago and walk or cycle to/from work about one mile each way. With the Lowe Alpine Enduro layered over a fleece, I am protected from the snow/sleet/rain and am plenty warm if the temp is 25 or above. The jacket feels a bit stiff (it's new, after all), with the most discomfort felt around the neck area. For the readers deciding on sizes, I am 5'11" - 165 pounds and the Medium fits me perfectly.
I am a huge fan of Lowe Alpine products (jackets/fleeces and backpacks) and the Enduro jacket meets my high expectations of the brand.

By The Chemist from Afton, OK on 12/26/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My wife and I have been wearing Gore-Tex jackets from a major sporting goods company for around 25 years. We love them but we've outgrown them. I hae been searching for over 2 years to find well made, matching his/her Gore-Tex jackets. These fill the bill nicely.
Pretty good jacket pretty cheap By Proto-geezer64 from Boston area on 12/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It seems like a well-made jacket from a good brand at a very good price. The "blackberry" color is a darker purple than shown -- better, as far as I'm concerned. The coat length is a little short for my taste, the zipper is a little hard to start and the mesh lining, as another reviewer mentioned, tends to snag and bind a little. It's still very good value for price.
Good coat but one major flaw By Always soaked from Pacific North- "wet" on 11/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Liked the weight and feel of the coat but the zipper pull was on the left (female) not right (male). Not a big thing, but hard to get used after a lifetime of old habits.
