By EBC from OH on 08/09/2009 Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm 5'3" and 110lbs and ordered a small and found it true to size. The length was good, longer in back to cover the rear end, and hit right below the hip in front. The color was good (sky blue, bright and refreshing). Not too form-fitting, good for layering. Returned it for a bunch of nitpicky reasons, I'm very particular about my gear. For example, the pull-tabs on the cuffs are hard plastic (yech!), the zipper flap is lined with velcro, and getting the hood back inside the collar is tricky. The hand pockets are at waist-height to accommodate backpacks with hip belts, which is the activity for which i purchased it. Unfortunately I did not field test it and cannot attest to its waterproofness or breathability, but the construction was good. Like most PacLite garments, this jacket was extremely noisy.

Fabulous Colors, Sloppy Fit By AnnieCR from Star Prairie, WI on 03/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Spring and Summer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked this jacket when I first took it out of the box. Lively colors-the Tarragon is a punchy apple green with orange and black accents and it has loads of great features (nice deep rain hood). Unfortunately, I did not like the fit. The fit seemed fine through the shoulders and hips, but it was very bulky and sloppy through the waist--I felt like I was wearing my boyfriends clothes. It didn't seem to be designed for a woman's body. This is also a very lightweight jacket for warmer temps (above 50).
By TeleNut from Wrightwood,CA on 02/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Strange hood storage Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice soft shell but not Pack-Lite as advertised
Does Lowes know Women have Breasts ? By Cornice Cow from Folsom CA on 02/21/2009 Cons: Constricts Movement, Irregular Size Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The fit was very short and boxy yet managed to be to tight across the chest. I checked the label to make sure it wasn't a men's jacket. The length barely reached my hips, and the sleeves exposed my forearms when I extended my arms. However the materials and construction seemed excellent.
By travelgirl from Laguna Niguel, CA on 02/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket in spicy orange. It was really pretty, but too big, so I returned it. The hood is bulky, so it does not fold away comfortably. It is really quality stuff, so I may re-order in small. The orange w/be fun to wear!
