I purchased these to wear with heavy hiking boots because my other socks were rubbing. The week I tried them it was 90 degrees. They stayed fluffy and padded the few spots that the boots were rubbing on. At those temperatures, they were not any more uncomfortable than other socks.

Langley in the Sierras of California. They will go with me during four weeks of backpack/archery elk hunting during September in Colorado and during my hike of Mt. McKinley on October 1st. They are my go to gear for tough hikes!
