I use the socks for general winter hiking with the dog. I am 5'8" tall, approximately 155 lbs. and have size 10.5 feet. The size Large fit perfectly. So far, the socks have not drooped on my legs and no bunching around the ankles. I have purchased two other pair of SmartWool ski socks, similar styling, different colors. Very pleased.
