Not too thick - Just right! By Cherie from Colorado on 09/23/2009 Pros: Insulating, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a women's 7 shoe, but the M was too large so I exchanged them for a small and they were just right. I had been wearing liner socks in my ski boots and my feet were getting cold. I think these wool socks should help keep my feet warm without bulk.

I love Smart Wool. I buy them up whenever they are avaiable @ such a bargain! I buy them in a variety of thickness and lenghts. Smart Wool, is just that, SMART! I ALWAYS GET SEVERAL!
These socks stand up to any of the $30 versions, but the have the added bonus of having a style that you would like to let peek over casual boots. @ this price, you don't have to reserve them for you skiing only. You could wear them all year long, and @ this price, you would be silly not to! Well, except when you have you heels or sandals on, of course! *Avoid Pilling*Just remember to wash them INSIDE-OUT!! ;0)

Wonderful quality/construction, run sm By lisamamot from West of Boston, MA on 08/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Insulating Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased these for my 9 year old daugther in a size Medium (she wears a youth 4 1/2 - 5 = women's 6 1/2 - 7). The aqua color is gorgeous and the fit was perfect. They are warm and well constructed. We find Smartwool runs small especially after being washed and dried. Size up if you are unsure.
